Serious Crash on A52 Junction with B1394 Swaton Lane
A major road in Lincolnshire was the scene of a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday, July 16, resulting in serious injuries to one man.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Emergency services were called to Swaton just after 5:20 pm on Tuesday, July 16, following a crash involving a white Vauxhall Vivaro, a white Volvo tanker, and a black Maserati Ghibli.
Vehicles Involved and Directions of Travel
The crash occurred at the A52 junction with B1394 Swaton Lane. The Vivaro and the Maserati were travelling on the A52 towards Threekingham, while the tanker was travelling in the direction of Donington.
A man in his 40s, who was driving the Vivaro, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Lincolnshire Police are now looking for more information about the crash and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A spokesperson for the police said: "We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or for anyone who saw any of the three vehicles prior to the collision to contact the Investigating Officer.
