Motorist Injured as Car Ends in Ditch in Lincolnshire Town
A motorist sustained injuries following an incident in Burgh Le Marsh, a coastal town in Lincolnshire, where their car crashed into a water-filled ditch. The collision, which took place on Wednesday, September 20, saw a blue Audi Quattro veer off the A158 road, near Poppies restaurant, and ended up in the ditch.
Involvement of a White BMW
Police have shared details of a potentially second involved vehicle, a white BMW, that fled the scene. As part of their ongoing investigation, they are urging the BMW driver to get in touch.
"A blue Audi Quattro left the A158 at Burgh Le Marsh, near to Poppy's restaurant. The car came to rest in a water-filled ditch. The driver received injuries which are not believed to be serious.
"We believe a second vehicle may have been involved, a white BMW, this vehicle did not stop at the scene, and we appeal for the driver to get in touch. We are appealing for anyone who was driving along Skegness Road, Burgh le Marsh at the time and saw either a white BMW or a blue Audi to contact us.
"We’d also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage they feel would assist our inquiries."

The police continue to gather evidence and request anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, particularly any person who might have noticed a white BMW or a blue Audi on the Skegness Road, to contact them. Additionally, any dashcam footage that may contribute to the inquiry is highly sought after.
