Yellow Thunderstorm Warning in Lincolnshire

The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning across Lincolnshire, lasting from 5pm on Monday, October 2 until 2am on Tuesday, October 3.

Expected Impacts

The Met Office predicts that thunderstorms and heavy rains are expected to cause some delays. This weather may lead to disruption and flooding during Monday evening and into the night.

Driving conditions could be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, while train services may also experience delays. The Met Office also alerted that flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible, along with damage to a number of buildings and structures due to lightning strikes. Temporary loss of power and other services is also a possibility.
