Man Arrested and Charged with Air Weapon Possession on Lincolnshire Coast
A man has been arrested and charged with being in possession of an air weapon, following an incident on the Lincolnshire coast, the county's officials reported. The incident took place around the Ingoldmells Road area of Burgh le Marsh, slightly around 8.50pm, Monday, October 2.
Quick Response by the Police
Upon receiving reports of a man wielding an air weapon, the police sprung into action and located the man. The man was subsequently arrested and taken into Skegness Police Station while the air weapon got secured.
Charges and Court Appearance
The offender, revealed to be Alan Coleman, 54, residing at Frithville Road, Sibsey, was charged with possession of an air weapon with an intent to incite fear of violence. He was held in custody and appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on October 3, where he was further remanded.
Coleman to Appear Before Lincoln Crown Court
The case against Coleman has been shifted to Lincoln Crown Court and will be heard at a later date, announced by the officials.
