22-Year-Old Scunthorpe Man Killed in Single-Car Collision in Lincolnshire
A fatal car accident in Laughton, Lincolnshire, claimed the life of a 22-year-old man from the Scunthorpe area last week. The incident occurred when his silver Honda veered off East Ferry Road and collided with a tree, as reported by the Lincolnshire Police.
Details of the Collision
The accident occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, September 21. Responding to a call just after 12.30pm, officers arrived at the scene to discover the single-vehicle wreckage. The driver, who was also the car's only occupant, was found dead as a result of the collision. His family has since been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
Local Disruptions
On the day of the accident, East Ferry Road was closed to enable the investigators to evaluate the scene. It has since been reopened to traffic.
