Woman Passes Away Following Lincolnshire Two-Vehicle Collision

A woman tragically succumbed to her injuries three days after a two-vehicle accident in a Lincolnshire village. The crash occurred on Wednesday, September 13 at the Brant Broughton junction on the A17.

Details on the Incident

The involved vehicles – a black Jaguar XF and a grey Land Rover Discovery – were on opposing routes. The Jaguar had traversed the High Street of Brant Broughton, supposedly turning right onto the A17, aiming for Newark. Simultaneously, the Land Rover Discovery was motoring towards Sleaford from Newark.

Casualty

Reportedly, minor injuries ensued at the scene; unfortunately, a woman travelling as a front seat passenger in one of the vehicles later died on Saturday, September 16.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Police indicated that authorities are still investigating the accident. Furthermore, they are awaiting the post-mortem report to officially link the cause of death to the collision. They appeal to any potential eyewitnesses or those with relevant dashcam footage to come forward and assist in their investigation.

"Our investigation is ongoing, and we await the outcome of a post-mortem to establish if the cause of death is related to the collision," stated the Lincolnshire Police spokesperson.
