Main heading: Are You a Festive Planner or a Last-minute Shopper This Christmas?

The Countdown to Festive Season

The calendar pages continue to turn, bringing us closer to the festive season every day. Soon, streets and shops across Lincolnshire will be adorned with decorations and filled with the hustle and bustle of shoppers in preparation for the big day.

While for many, this brings the expected last-minute rush to find the perfect presents, a select few are already resting easy. According to a recent survey, these early birds are a minority, yet still represent a notable three in ten people who have already begun their Christmas shopping.

Early Birds Have Their Gifts Sorted

The study revealed that the most popular item among the early shoppers is, unsurprisingly, presents for others. By ticking off this primary task at an early stage, these festive planners can enjoy the lead-up to Christmas with less stress and more comfort.

But it's not only about gifts. With advanced planning, these diligent individuals have also stocked up on decorations and wrapping paper, ensuring they have all they need to create the most festive atmosphere in a timely manner. Even the task of sending out festive cards is handled well in advance.

While The Rest Leaves it for Last Minute

It's a marked difference to the rest of us, who will be spotted dashing around the stores in December; frantically picking up whatever we can find to fulfil our gifting duties.

"Here's to those starting their Christmas shopping early; even if it's just grabbing a selection box when they first hit the supermarket shelves," said one of our sources.

So which camp do you fall into? The early birds who are already stocked up, or the last-minute shoppers who will fight the December crowd? Regardless of your approach, one thing is for certain: the most magical time of the year is incoming, and Lincolnshire is ready for the festivities.
