Goose Fair Returns to Nottingham with Thrills for All Ages

Goose Fair Returns With More Fun and Excitement

Goose Fair, one of Europe's largest travelling funfairs, is making its grand reappearance at the Forest Recreation Ground this autumn, from Friday 29 September to Sunday 8 October. More than half a million visitors from across the region are projected to participate in this historical event that has been providing thrilling entertainment since 1284.

What to Expect at the Well-Loved Fair

With over 250 rides and attractions designed for all age groups, Goose Fair promises ample excitement for every visitor. The ten-day event will showcase fresh rides like the TipTop and Xcelerator, alongside the popular favourites from previous years, including the Reverse Bungee, Ice Jet Matterhorn, Star Flyer, and two giant wheels offering panoramic views of the fair and the city skyline.

Save on Rides with Money-off Voucher

Patrons can avail of money-off vouchers, allowing them to save 50p per ride at selected attractions, meaning a superb saving opportunity of up to £20. Purchase a copy of your Lincolnshire Echo on Thursday, 28 September or Thursday, 5 October to find your page of vouchers. Please note, these vouchers are applicable from Monday to Thursday between 16:00 until the fair closes, and on Fridays from 16:00 to 18:00. The vouchers are not valid on Saturday or Sunday, and only original vouchers will be accepted.

Classic Goose Fair Attractions Back for Another Year

Classic Goose fair attractions such as The Skid, Gallopers, and the Cake Walk, a ride that has been operating since the fair was initially held at Old Market Square, will also be returning. Visitors can also enjoy numerous side-show games such as hook-a-duck and basketball.
