Earlier Christmas Delivery Slots Announced by Tesco

Tesco Announces Early Christmas Delivery Plans for 2023

Supermarket giant Tesco has announced earlier plans for its Christmas delivery in 2023 compared to the previous year. Customers are reminded that there's still time to sign up for Tesco's subscription-based Delivery Saver plan to gain early access to online slots for the festive season.

Christmas Delivery Slot Timings

According to Tesco, customers who sign up for a regular delivery scheme by November 6 can book Christmas slots from 6 am on November 7. Those who do not have a Delivery Saver plan can commence booking Tesco Delivery and Click+Collect slots from 6am on November 21.

Delivery Saver Plans

Delivery Saver, a scheme designed to lower the cost of regular online grocery orders, offers plans starting from just £2.49 a month with durations of six or 12 months. Orders made under these plans can be delivered to your home or picked up via the Click+Collect service at selected stores.

Official Statements

"We're looking forward to helping customers across the UK pick up some family favourites or treat themselves to something special this festive season... and our convenient Delivery Saver plans not only give you early access to slots this Christmas, but they can also save you an amazing £150 a year on delivery or collection fees*. And as we help customers plan ahead for their Christmas shop this year, there is no better time to sign up to a Delivery Saver plan and benefit from festive priority slot bookings,” said Tom Denyard, Managing Director of Tesco Online.

Other Supermarkets' Christmas Plans

Other supermarkets are also prepared for the festive rush. Morrisons has opened its Christmas food delivery slots, allowing delivery pass holders to book from October 18 and others to book from October 25. Asda's bookings for Delivery Pass members and non-members alike are already open while Sainsbury's delivery pass customers can start booking from October 16.
