A well-known supermarket offering a thrifty option to expensive slippers has recently received kudos. Aldi has impressed customers by selling a pair of slippers which bear almost an identical resemblace to the pricier version of a high-end brand, Ugg.

Aldi has lately released its 'Avenue Collection Ladies Lambskin Slippers', a low-cost version of the famous Australian brand's pricier slippers. The Aldi slippers bear striking resemblance to Ugg's Scuffette II Slippers in terms of design and material, with the important difference being the price.
Comparative Costs:
The Ugg slippers set a customer back £90, whereby Aldi's almost identical version can be bought at just £16.99. Remarkably, that's a considerable £73 difference.
Customer Reactions:
In the popular shopping Facebook group 'Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK', the Aldi slippers have indeed gained popularity. Shoppers express their backing of the budget-friendly slippers by liking, commenting and sharing their experiences.
"The 'viral' slippers are in Aldi's," lauded customer, Sioned, who introduced the slippers to the group. Other group members also revealed their support, with Joanne tagging a friend and commenting "We need these", while Kayleigh simply wrote "I want these".
