Fundraising Initiative for the Deceased's Family

A GoFundMe page has been created to support McDermott's grieving family. There, Mr Clarke, the organizer of the fundraising, shares a heartfelt message:

"I want to do what we can at this tragic time to help Tony's family with funeral costs," writes Mr Clarke. "Tony was one of a kind, he had his flaws but he had the biggest heart and would help anyone he could. His crazy sense of humour was one of a kind. He was a loving father and was so proud of his children. I know how loved Tony was and how missed he will be, so I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to show their support."

Currently, over £5,600 has been gathered for the McDermotts, approaching the page's set goal of £8,000.
