The high-profile Sir Isaac Newton pub, situated on Grantham High Street, Lincolnshire, has recently been placed on the market. The owners have decided to sell the pub with an asking price of £395,000, excluding VAT.

The sale is being managed by Fleurets, recognised experts in the field of leisure property, and the pub comes with an additional three-bedroom private accommodation included.

The pub was formerly known as The Atrium before it was acquired by Amber Taverns, a widely recognised pub group who subsequently revamped the premises. The pub is largely recognised for its expansive 24-metre bar area, complete with eight large sports screens. Additionally, it features a spacious garden area equipped with an outdoor sports screen, that enhances the overall appeal of the property.

Why Amber Taverns is Selling

In their statement, Amber Taverns cited the pub's location falling outside of their strategic area as the reason for the sale. The pub group indicated that they aim to concentrate further investment efforts elsewhere.

"The pub has been put up for sale because it falls outside our strategic area to offer full management support. We are committed to further investment in other areas and feel a local operator will benefit from a great asset,"
said a spokesperson for Amber Taverns.
