Stalking Charges Imposed upon Two Women in Lincolnshire Village

Two local women, Linda Lu, 34, and Susan Chen, 60, from Bassingham, have been charged with stalking offences after repeated incidents reported in the Lincolnshire village, states local authorities.

The Offences

Reports of the alleged incidences began to surface in July, leading to an extended investigation by the community's Neighborhood Policing Team. According to the police, the cases of harassment ranged from vulgarity and spitting to verbal threats targeted at villagers.

"This has been taking a toll on our peaceful community since July,"

Charges Against the Accused

The accused, both residents of Linga Lane in Bassingham, have been charged with severe alarm and distress causing stalking and failing to comply with a Community Protection Notice. The charges were made on October 10th.

Appearance in Court

The guilty pair made an appearance at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 11th. The two have since been remanded into custody, with their next hearing scheduled at Lincoln Crown Court on an yet unconfirmed date.
