Public Assistance Requested in Lincolnshire Burglary Case

Investigation Underway After Nighttime Burglary in Fydell Street, Lincolnshire

In a troubling incident in Boston's Fydell street, near the River Witham, Lincolnshire police are probing a burglary during which laptops and mobile phones were stolen. The authorities announced that the breach occurred between the evening of Sunday, September 17 and the early hours of Monday.

Police Seeking Public Assistance

A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Police appealed to the public for any helpful information. The representative elaborated on the stolen items, indicating that two laptops and two mobile phones were nullified from the Lincolnshire home during the night-time burglary.

"We would like to hear from anyone who has CCTV, dashcam footage or witnessed this incident taking place. They can contact DS McCormack on 07799 101 799 or by emailing [email protected], quoting reference 23*580543."

Tackling Burglary a Top Priority

For Lincolnshire Police, burglary reduction has been highlighted as a top priority. A continued drive titled 'beating burglary together' was launched this year, focusing on lowering the incidents of burglaries within the county.

"Our aim is to enhance trust and confidence in our service and build a more informed understanding of who is at risk of burglary and what can be done to reduce that risk."

For those planning a bonfire and/or fireworks display event, they're encouraged to inform local authorities.
