Police Appeal for Information on Wanted 18-Year-Old
Cambridgeshire Police are actively searching for 18-year-old Bailey Winkle, who is wanted in connection with a series of offences. Winkle, originally from Peterborough, is linked to multiple burglaries and theft cases from October last year, as well as breaching the conditions of his electronic monitoring tag.
The authorities have indicated that Winkle has connections within Lincolnshire, leading them to believe that he might be taking refuge in the county. In a statement, a spokesperson for Cambridshire Police urged the public to come forward with any information:
"Anyone who has seen Winkle or knows of his whereabouts should tell us about it on the force website using reference 35/95300/23. Anyone without internet access should call 101."
Lincolnshire Police are also aiding in the manhunt and have extended the appeal through social media platforms to gather leads on Winkle's location. Their message encourages community involvement:
"Our colleagues in Peterborough are appealing for help to find Bailey Winkle. If you've seen him or know where he might be, please get in touch with them."
Members of the public are reminded to act responsibly by reporting sightings or information directly to the police and not to approach the individual themselves.
