Major Lincolnshire Housing Project On The Rise

Work Progressing Well on Major Lincolnshire Housing Development

Work on an expansive housing project, which will add 121 affordable residences in Bourne, Lincolnshire, is progressing steadily said housing supplier Longhurst Group and Allison Partnerships. The collaboration is proving effective given the scale and impact of the project.

Development Details

The housing complex, located on Manning Road, will bring in a range of affordable housing options, with a diverse mix of one, two, three, and four-bedroom homes. Multiple tenures including shared ownership, rent to buy, and affordable renting options will be available for potential residents.

Marcus Keys, Executive Director of Growth, Development and Assets at Longhurst Group, shared his enthusiasm, "This development is one of the largest schemes we’ve entered in partnership, so to see the progress being made is very exciting. We want to provide much-needed affordable housing and Mays Place will help lots of local families take their first step onto the property ladder. It aligns perfectly with our vision of providing the homes people want, where they’re needed most and enhances our property stock in Lincolnshire."

Longhurst and Allison Partnerships Collaboration

The partners are buzzing with gratitude for the mutual cooperation towards delivering Mays Place. A part of this alliance agreement included Allison Partnerships selling a parcel of land on Manning Road to Longhurst Group, alongside agreeing to handle the construction work on the acquired site.

John Anderson, CEO of Allison Group, proudly stated, "We’re proud that construction work at Mays Place is progressing well. Our committed team is working hard with Longhurst Group to ensure that future residents are provided with a vibrant new community and homes they can be proud to live in."

Resembling community solidarity, a deal has been initiated wherein £100 for every completed home will be divided equally amongst local groups the Butterfield Centre, Toolbar, and Don’t Lose Hope. Anderson sees this as a pivotal step towards embodying the value of generosity in all of their partnership projects with Longhurst Group.
