Man Charged with Knife Possession and Offensive 999 Calls
A Wyberton resident has been slapped with charges of carrying a knife in public and making numerous offensive or threatening calls to emergency services. Terry Addison, 35, based out of Scott Drive, Wyberton, is expected to face the charges at Boston Magistrates Court on Monday, October 2.
Lincolnshire Police Incident Response
The charges come in the wake of an incident of a call to Lincolnshire Police on the night of Tuesday, September 12. The caller claimed to be in possession of a firearm, threatening to harm himself and others at a particular Scott Drive address. In response, armed police officers were dispatched to the scene.
The Arrest
The man was tasered and subsequently arrested due to the nature of the threats being made.

Wyberton, the scene of the bizarre incident, is situated to the south-west of Boston along the B1397, between Boston and Kirton.
