Popular Tablez Restaurant in Lincolnshire Denies Closure Speculations

Lincolnshire Restaurant Tablez: "We Are Not Closing"

In recent times, rumours have swirled on social media platforms about the likely closure of popular Lincolnshire restaurant Tablez, located in Sleaford. However, the owners of this popular establishment have responded, vehemently denying these speculations.

Quashing Closure Rumours

A spokesperson for the eatery, situated on Southgate, took to Facebook on Thursday, November 9, to set the record straight about the circulating rumours. "We have had some private messages and have been hearing rumours that we are closing down and we would like to say that this is completely false," they stated in the post.

Addressing their clientele, the representative added, "We are grateful for your support and concern about these rumours and felt we had to make this announcement to put it to rest that we are definitely not closing. We will continue to serve you as long as our great customers keep coming through our doors."

Customer Reactions

Following the clarifying post, patrons of Tablez expressed an outpour of relief. Comments from happy customers flooded in, many expressing their joy at the news that their favourite restaurant is here to stay. "I'm so glad they are false," wrote one relieved customer. Another echoed, "Not heard rumours but so pleased to hear you’re not going anywhere."

Award-Winning Establishment

Tablez, which first opened its doors in 2017, has been firmly established as one of the best eateries in the region. Its reputation was cemented in June 2022 when it was crowned the best café/bistro in the East Midlands. The restaurant offers delectable English cuisine with a Mediterranean twist, and the owner, Mesut Palabiyik, aims to put Sleaford on the culinary map with his uniquely flavoured dishes.
