Lincolnshire Woman Sentenced After Dogs Attack Locals

Woman Receives Community Service Sentence After "Dangerously Out of Control" Dogs Injure Three

In a distressing incident in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, two dogs described as "dangerously out of control" resulted in injury to three individuals, one of whom required hospital treatment. Amanda Wyle, 42, and resident of St Giles Avenue in Sleaford, was subsequently charged with the serious offence of being in control of dogs behaving dangerously and causing harm.

Court Proceedings Reveal Details

Following the event which occurred on October 29 at Bristol Arcade in Sleaford, Wyle appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court. She pleaded guilty to all counts against her, culminating in her sentence of 40 days of community work. Furthermore, she is to provide monetary compensation to the unfortunate victims of the attack.

"Amanda Wyle... pleaded guilty to all three charges. She was sentenced... to a community order of 40 rehabilitation activity requirement days and to pay compensation to the three victims."

Dogs Secured and Seized

The two problematic dogs essentially went on a rampage at the aforementioned Bristol Arcade until they were ultimately secured by Lincolnshire Police who were quick to arrive at the scene after receiving urgent reports. Upon arrival, one of the dogs fled while the other was immediately controlled. The breeds of the dogs remain unknown as described by the police; however, both dogs have the appearance of crossbreeds.

Further investigations are currently ongoing as both animals have been seized and placed into secure kennels to avoid any further dissatisfaction or harm to the general public.
