A Man Arrested Over Reported Verbal Abuse and Alleged Vehicle Break-in in Lincolnshire
A 61-year-old man has been apprehended by Lincolnshire Police following an incident in North Hykeham involving alleged verbal abuse and attempted car violation, targeting a woman driver. The incident occurred on Monday, October 16, at around 4.50pm in Moor Lane, at its junction with Newark Road.
Details of the Incident
Police reports claim a man approached the female driver of a stationary silver Ford Mondeo, at a traffic stop. The woman, together with a child, was inside the car at the time of the incident. The accused exhibited verbally abusive behaviour and made an alleged effort to break into the vehicle, according to the Lincolnshire Police.
Investigation Underway
The detained man hails from the North Hykeham locality, and is under suspicion of committing a public order offence. The arrest was made as part of the ongoing inquiry into this incident.
