Rodent Incident at a Lincolnshire School

A rodent sighting at Sir Robert Pattinson Academy in North Hykeham prompted concerns amongst parents and necessitated the intervention of pest control professionals. This event unfolded on the premises around Friday, 22nd September.

School's Response to the Rodent Incident

Following the sighting of a mouse within the precincts of the educational institution, the school management acted swiftly to control the situation. To this effect, professional pest control services were called to the scene immediately.

"The school has dealt with an incident where a mouse was seen in the oldest part of our building. Professional pest control services were brought in immediately and the issue has now been dealt with,"

remarked a spokesperson for the Moor Lane school. The spokesperson further added reassurances that the occurrence of rodents in such large building structures, particularly during predominantly vacant summer months, was not unusual.

"Having taken professional advice our school, like most, are large buildings set in extensive grounds and we have been assured it is not unusual for a mouse to get into buildings over the summer while they are mostly empty,"

About Sir Robert Pattinson Academy

Primarily operating as a comprehensive secondary school, the former Sir Robert Pattinson School transitioned into an academy in 2011. Since 2018, Dale Hardy has been holding the reins as the headteacher of this institution.

Closure

Despite initial concerns about possible disruption of learning activities, the school management's swift response successfully upheld the smooth operation of the academy.
