A16 Road Closure Due to Two-Vehicle Crash Near Louth

The A16, a major Lincolnshire thoroughfare, partially closed due to a two-vehicle crash. The incident occurs just south of the roundabout where it intersects with the A157, near Louth.

Notification to Lincolnshire Police

The collision was reported to the Lincolnshire Police around 2.10pm on Tuesday, October 10. A spokesperson for the force spoke about the situation shortly after 2.30pm.

"Part of the A16 near the roundabout where it meets the A157, just outside Louth, will be closed following a two-vehicle collision."

Traffic Congestion on A16

Heavy congestion surrounds the affected area, causing traffic to move very slowly. This is according to Google Maps' traffic monitoring service. The congestion is particularly seen at junctions with the nearby Horncastle Road and further down the bypass.
