A two-vehicle collision has led to the partial blockade of the busy A15, causing considerable traffic congestion and unsettling local residents. The incident, which occurred close to the Metheringham Heath Lane junction on Monday, the 16th of October, was reported to have been caused by one motorist's failure to stop.

Lincolnshire police were notified of the accident just before 8am, which left the road heavily congested for several hours afterwards. The force's spokesperson has confirmed that nobody was injured in the collision. She noted, "One of the vehicles involved in the collision failed to stop. Inquiries are ongoing."
Traffic Disruption and Subsequent Reopening
The road mishap proved to be a significant disruption for the regular flow of traffic in both directions. However, authorities managed to clear the area and reinstate traffic flow around 10am.
