Amber Hill’s Shocking Tractor Collision Wreckage

Amber Hill’s Shocking Tractor Collision Wreckage

Tractor Rampage Causes Havoc in Amber Hill

An Amber Hill resident and her friend were stunned when a tractor annihilated their parked cars. Vanessa Penniston, 52, said the sudden shattering noise was heard around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday night while they were relaxing in her conservatory.

Upon leaving the house, the damage in front of them left them horrified. Ms Penniston’s vehicle, a Suzuki Vitara, along with a Ford Fiesta, were totally ruined. The impact was so mighty that parts of both car, such as the doors and wing mirrors, were sheared off and the Vitara was forced through her sturdy iron fencing, ending up just short of her kitchen wall.

"My car was under my kitchen window. It had gone through metal, heavy, strong gates that had been there for hundreds of years. That fence has been there since the house was built. The damage is immense. My car went straight through the fence. It was at the front door."

Ms Penniston further added that her car would have crashed into her home had she had a wooden fence, emphasizing the alarming speed at which the tractor must have been racing.

Over the eight years she has lived there, Ms Penniston, a domestic cleaner, has never experienced such an incident. The wreck has left her incapable of making to her work, costing her vital earnings. Despite the turmoil, she's relieved that her pets, including dogs and chickens, escaped unscathed.

Call for Responsible Driving

Both women demanded more accountability from tractor drivers on rural roads. The friend, who prefers to remain anonymous, expressed her dismay with drivers who dismiss the potential dangers because of the open, long roads.

"You don't park up somewhere and expect your vehicle to just be written off like that. That road is very long so I can understand people going quickly down it, but they need to be a bit more aware going past built-up houses."

The anonymous friend also expressed their relief that no-one was injured in this shocking incident. She said that though the incident caused a major disturbance, the main thing was that they were okay and their vehicles were insured and so could be replaced. Ms Penniston reported the incident to Lincolnshire Police,

Police Confirmation

Lincolnshire Police confirmed the incident. According to their statement, the collision involved a blue New Holland tractor, a black Ford Fiesta, and a silver Suzuki Grand Vitara, causing damage to both cars and a fence.
