New Venue in Lincoln Opens Applications for Street Food Operators
There is a new opportunity for street food providers in Lincolnshire as applications are now open to trade in a new venue, STACK Lincoln. The development, which will be located at the previously unoccupied Argos store at St Marks Shopping Centre, will consist of five bars and ten stalls dedicated to street food.
Plans for STACK Lincoln
The company behind STACK Lincoln is transforming the former Argos store into a sanctuary for food lovers. Along with a selection of bars and food outlets, plans for the venue include a roof terrace, a coffee shop, and a central plaza equipped with a stage for live entertainment. The conversion is currently in progress.
What the Company Is Looking for
STACK Lincoln wants to create an eclectic mix of high-end street food providers that fit their brand. They have shown a preference for a blend of international cuisines, citing examples from other STACK venues that range from artisan pizzas to bao buns, handcrafted burgers, mac and cheese, Indian food and Greek specialties.
"What we are looking for are people who can provide proper street food from a range of international cuisines. We want a really interesting mix of high-quality food which plays an important part in the success of STACK. The food stand operators benefit from a huge amount of support from us, including from our marketing and promotional activity as well as becoming part of the fast-growing STACK family," said Neill Winch, CEO of STACK.
STACK Lincoln is just one of several new venues being established around the country. Two new venues are slated for Newcastle, and others are planned for Durham, Bishop Auckland, Whitley Bay, Carlisle and Northampton.
