Air Ambulance and Paramedic Crews Respond to Medical Emergency in Lincoln
An urgent dispatch of emergency responders occurred on a tranquil Lincolnshire lane recently in response to a reported medical emergency. The incident occurred at a residential property on Horner Close, Lincoln, at around just after 9 am on Thursday, November 9th, prompting an immediate response from the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance squad.
Emergency Services Collaboration
Several members from the emergency services sector instantly attended to the distress call. The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance team collaborated closely with other first responders, including a LIVES emergency responder, a solo paramedic, and a crewed ambulance.
EMAS Statement
"We received a call at 9.04am on November 9 to a private address in Lincoln. The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent a LIVES emergency first responder, a paramedic in a solo response car and a crewed ambulance. The air ambulance was also in attendance,"
said a spokesperson from the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS).
Emergency Response Continues
Emergency crews stayed on the site past 10.40am, despite the air ambulance's earlier departure. Local residents mentioned hearing the helicopter, which operates from a nearby base in Waddington, flying overhead during the mid-morning period.
