Halfords Confirms Lincolnshire Shop Closure

Lincolnshire Halfords Store Set to Close

Halfords, the UK's leading provider of cycling and motoring services, vehicle servicing and repairs, has announced the forthcoming closure of its Lincolnshire shop on Wragby Road in Lincoln. The last trading day for this store, popular amongst residents and neighbours of the Carlton Centre, is scheduled for Friday, November 17.

No specific rationale for this closure, which directly affects staff members, has been provided. A company spokesperson has however confirmed that the affected personnels are well-aware of the impending shutdown.

"We can confirm the Halfords store in Lincoln is due to close and staff are aware of the closure,"

She further reassured that necessary measures are being implemented to support those who will be impacted by this closure.

"We are working hard to support all of those affected,"

Despite the upcoming end of operations at this branch, customers have also been comforted that they will still be able to make purchases from the Halfords online store.

Adjustment for Lincoln Shoppers

After the closure of this Halfords branch, shoppers in Lincoln will have to funnel their custom to the branches in Tritton Road in Lincoln and London Road in Grantham.

This marks a significant change, as the shop in the Carlton Centre, neighbour to Costa Coffee alongside a nearby Go Outdoors camping supplier, has been a long-standing fixture in the community.

The Company's Place in the Market

Founded in Leicester in 1892, Halfords claims to be the UK's top provider in its sector. The company currently operates about 1,240 shops nationwide and employs more than 10,000 people.
