Senior Couple Hospitalised in Horncastle Collision

There was a serious vehicular accident in Horncastle, Lincolnshire today (Friday, November 3) resulting in an elderly man and woman being taken to the hospital. The man is reportedly in his 60s, and the woman in her 70s.

Crash Site Details

The incident occurred roughly around 1.15pm local time at the Tesco entrance on Watermill Road. Involved in the collision were a black Nissan Qashqai and two pedestrians, later identified as the injured seniors.

Severity of Injuries

The male pedestrian reportedly sustained injuries as a result of the accident, while the elderly woman suffered serious injuries. Both individuals have been taken to hospital for medical attention. Doubtless, the severity of their condition has underlined the seriousness of this accident.

Collision Investigation

Lincolnshire police have since appealed for witnesses and are soliciting dashcam footage of the incident as a part of their ongoing investigation. The appeal is in connection with the accident at the entrance of the Tesco supermarket on Watermill Road in Horncastle. It has been marked as incident number 196 in the police records.
