Lincolnshire Coffee Shop Celebrates Anniversary with Community Treats

Spokes Coffee Shop, a top-rated coffee house located on Ropery Road, Lincolnshire, is marking its one-year anniversary with special gifts scattered around the town of Gainsborough and nearby villages. The cafe will celebrate this milestone on Friday, October 27.

Surprise Gifts Hidden Around Town

The coffee shop's owner, Ali Allsop, is distributing blue helium balloons to different locations in and around the town. Each balloon carries a tag attached to a free gift. These gifts span a variety of items, covering a complimentary cream tea to a free coffee.

"I’m super proud of what we have done as a team in a year. We have the same staff here from the very beginning and so it’s been a lovely journey together. I couldn’t do it without the staff and their support. We are like one big family," said Ali.

Not Just Coffee at Spokes

Besides superb coffee, Spokes offers other delights such as milkshakes, hot chocolates, soft drinks, bacon and egg sandwiches, cakes and more. If the surprise balloons are not found by lunchtime on the anniversary day, they will be collected by the Spokes staff.

"A big congratulations to Spokes Coffee Shop on their 1-year anniversary. It's great to see a local business in Gainsborough thriving and doing well. I hope local residents find the balloons and treat themselves," said Councillor Trevor Young, Leader of West Lindsey District Council.
