Investigation Follows Early Morning Commercial Fire in Tallington

Briefing on a Commercial Fire in Tallington Village

On Wednesday, November 1st, seven fire crews were on-site tackling a fire at a commercial premise located at Main Road, Tallington, a village in Lincolnshire, UK. The teams were called to intervene at around 4:03 a.m. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have since confirmed that crews are no longer in attendance at the fire scene.

Investigation into the Blaze

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that a detailed fire investigation would readily take place later in the afternoon of the incident day. The main objective of the investigation is to uncover the cause of the blaze.

Extent of the Damage

Information released by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue through their Twitter account at 5:31 a.m on the same day confirmed that about 20% of a commercial unit fell victim to the fire. Notably, there was significant smoke damage affecting the whole building, and a neighbouring building also suffered 20% smoke damage.

The village of Tallington is located within the South Kesteven district, around four miles east from Stamford. This tranquil hamlet boasts around 200 houses and houses several commercial entities along its venerated Main Road.
