Arcade Triumph in Skegness Seaside Resort

In an amazing display of arcade prowess, a man from Birkenhead astounded spectators at a Lincolnshire holiday resort when he won an astonishing amount of arcade tickets. Philly Jones, who was vacationing at Butlin's in Skegness with his family, won the large pile of tickets over the course of two days.

Successful Stint at Candy Drop Ball Machine

Displaying his masterful gaming skills, Mr Jones delighted in the candy drop ball machine inside the Skyline tent on Monday, October 9. At the end of his successful stint, he had accumulated an incredible 27,890 tickets by Wednesday lunchtime.

Sharing the Winnings

"I was shocked at the sheer scale of tickets, but not that he was winning, because he is really good at arcade games. A number of staff inside the arcade saw him as they had to keep coming over to refill the tickets for him."

Not only were his wins a delight to his family, but Mr Jones also generously shared his winnings with a young three-year-old boy celebrating his birthday and other children observing his gaming.

His wife, Rachel Jones, expressed surprise at the extent of her husband's win. The arcade staff had to continually replenish the tickets due to his striking success.

The ticket bounty was spent on an assortment of toys that delighted Mr Jones's two sons and their newfound friends. Prizes such as plushies, board games, Transformer figures, squishies, and light-up toys were victoriously carried away by the young children.
