Lincolnshire Police Request Help in Sexual Assault Probe

Suspected Sexual Assault Witness Wanted by Police in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire law enforcement agencies have requested assistance in identifying a man who they think could potentially aid their ongoing investigation into a reported sexual assault case. The incident involved a minor, a 17-year-old girl, while she was commuting on a train.

Assault Onboard Skegness-bound Train

The teenager was travelling to Skegness from Grantham on Monday, August 21, when she was allegedly approached by a suspicious male. The encounter reportedly evolved into an unsettling situation, with the male subject accused of asking the young passenger inappropriate questions before sexually assaulting her. The incident allegedly transpired around 3.30pm.

Detectives Searching for Male Subject

Detectives lifted a CCTV image of a man they suspect could shed light on the investigation. They wish to locate and speak to this man, believing he may hold information crucial to their probe into the alleged assault.

A British Transport Police spokesperson announced, "Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 514 of 21 August."
