Medical Emergency Reported at Equinox Festival in Lincolnshire
East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) responded to a medical emergency at the bustling family-friendly music event, Equinox Festival, in Ludborough, Lincolnshire, on Friday, September 15.
A person, whose condition is presently unknown, was swiftly transported to the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby for further treatment. East Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they received the call at 9.02 pm, with two crewed ambulances promptly arriving at the festival site.
"We received a call at 9.02pm on 15 September to the Equinox Festival in Ludborough. The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent two crewed ambulance, and one patient was taken to Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby."
This year's Equinox Festival, slated from September 15 to September 18, hosted a multitude of music enthusiasts with over 100 bands and DJs commanding six stages and three dance tents at Chalk Farm, Ludborough.
A request for comment has been made to the music festival's organisers.
