Horncastle Residents Speak Out on Discount Supermarket Plans
Residents of Horncastle, Lincolnshire, have expressed mixed opinions on the town's need for two discount supermarkets, Aldi and Lidl, as a legal battle comes to an end.

A Lidl spokesperson expressed satisfaction with the court's decision, stating that it ensures both applications will be "determined equally" by the planning committee.
"We are fully committed to bringing a new store to Horncastle and are therefore pleased with the court decision. This means our application will now be considered by the planning committee, ensuring that both applications are determined equally." - Lidl spokesperson

Mrs Astle, a 12-year resident, also expressed concerns about the need for two discount supermarkets, suggesting that
