The Red Arrows are Set for Weekend Performances
The popular aerobatics team, The Red Arrows, based in Lincolnshire, are returning to the skies for two flypasts and two extravagant displays. Their weekend of performance is set to begin on Saturday, September 16.
Beginning with Southampton
The team is set to begin their performance run with a flypast over Ringwood and the Southampton Boat Show. Their journey then continues to Duxford for a special display at the Battle of Britain Air Show. A further display is scheduled for Duxford on Sunday, before the team migrates back to their home base at RAF Waddington.
The Red Arrows Weekend Journey
The Red Arrows journey spans from the Channel Islands to Duxford, performing not just in the skies above Ringwood and Southampton, but many other locations including Kings Lynn, Whittlesey, Fen Drayton, Haslingfield, Saffron Walden, Royston, and Long Stanton. They are expected at Waddington around 5.43pm on Sunday evening, ending a busy weekend of flying. Due to potential changes in weather and other varying requirements, timings may alter accordingly.
