Boston Council Prepares for a Brilliant Christmas Season

Boston Gears Up for Illuminated Christmas in Lincolnshire

In a recent announcement, the Boston Borough Council in Lincolnshire pledged to "embrace the holiday spirit" and support its local businesses for the upcoming Christmas season. Along with its 'spirit of Christmas' declaration, the council has also teamed up with The Festive Light Company in a bid to make the town centre a captivating winter wonderland with lights and decor.

This initiative, which allows local businesses to participate and display their festive talents, will also incorporate a Christmas window competition. Local retailers are prompted to decorate their shop fronts in the spirit of the holiday season, each having its unique Christmas story to tell.

"This initiative captures the true essence of the holiday season – bringing light, joy, and togetherness back to our beloved town. We are pleased to be working with The Festive Lighting Company and can't wait to witness Boston shine bright again this Christmas," expressed Councllor Dale Broughton, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Town Centre at Boston Borough Council.

The council's commitment to improving its festivities comes in the wake of last year's criticism.

The Festive Lighting Company's Aid

"The Festive Lighting Company are delighted to once again be providing the Christmas lighting in Boston, we look forward to creating a winter wonderland that businesses, residents and visitors will enjoy during the festive period," stated Shaun Moore, Managing Director of The Festive Lighting Company.
